Antha Naal Nyabam
Guys listen to this song. No wacky beats, no special instruments, no English words, no high tech sounds, but full of feel good music. That's Maestro for you. This song is a perfect example of IR style of music. The song opens with a good bass and a flute music just like the Illangaathu from Pithamagan and then continues with a mellifluous music. When I listen to the song I felt like I have heard it some where else but couldn't quite figure it out. Thats one more aspect of IR's songs. Nothing new, but something different, which still keeps you listening the song n number of times. One more great thing about the song is the voice rendered by both V.Yesudas and Shreya. Vijay rocks!. God should have told to himself that people in earth will miss Yesudas's voice after some time, so he bestowed in Vijay, the voice of his father, which I'm happy that he has used in the right way without going for all those fast and item number songs. His voice gives a a overwhelming feeling, when you listen to this song. Shreya has managed to come out with good pronunciations.
This is the pick of the album Adhu Oru Kanaa Kaalam.
